About Us

Barb Wilczynski is an award-winning dollmaker who has earned the title of Grand Master of Dollmaking and Doll Artisan Guild Instructor from the Doll Artisan Guild School of Dollmaking.  She has worked with ceramics, glass and porcelain for over 30 years and has taught others the fun of working with these different medias. Barb has a degree in Therapeutic Recreation and an advanced degree in Social Work.

Although porcelain dollmaking has been the main focus in the studio since it opened its doors in 1993, students have the freedom to try their hand at other art forms like decorative arts, china painting, glass slumping and painting and sculpting.

Barb works with her husband, Joe, in keeping the studio a fun and relaxing place to come while challenging each student with new skills and techniques.
